What’s your Preffered “Investment Network of the Year”?

Across Africa, angel investment networks play an important role in connecting investors, mobilising capital and creating opportunities for early-stage businesses. They bring investors together, facilitate investment activity and help strengthen the support available to entrepreneurs across different markets.

Yet, the contribution of these networks deserves greater recognition. As Africa’s investment ecosystem continues to develop, recognising the organisations building connections, encouraging collaboration and supporting investment activity is an important part of celebrating its progress.

This is the thinking behind the Investment Network of the Year category at the AESIS 2026 Awards, presented by the African Business Angel Network (ABAN) and VC4A. The award celebrates investment networks making a meaningful contribution to Africa’s early-stage investment landscape through investor engagement, deal-making, collaboration, and support for startups.

Do you have a network in mind?

The public is invited to submit the name of an investment network they believe deserves recognition. Whether it is connecting angel investors, facilitating deals, or strengthening the investment ecosystem in its market, this is an opportunity to bring its contribution into the conversation.
