Happy New month ABAN Angels and Partners,

According to a recent post by Afridigest Africa, the continent is witnessing an unprecedented surge in innovation, and we are proud to be at the forefront of this transformation, mobilizing angel capital to support high-growth startups and shape a sustainable future. In March, we took bold strides toward this mission by hosting and representing the angel investing community at key events and discussions, driving critical conversations in the quest to unlock opportunities to fuel Africa’s next wave of high-growth startups: the exclusive SAIS Module 2 on Deal Flow Management, the African Leadership Academy staff retreat in Johannesburg to share insights on ABAN’s case study and the Scaling Access to Finance for Agripreneurs conference that took place in Berlin.

A key highlight was when Fadilah Tchoumba, ABAN CEO, took part in a thought-provoking conversation at Palais de l’Elysée about the incredible achievements of “Women in Tech and the Challenges they Face”, courtesy of President Emmanuel Macron in France. March has been an inspiring journey, and we are just getting started!
